When you train at our gym, you train for real - to survive on the street. 

During practice in Commando Krav Maga, attack scenarios are simulated to be as realistic as possible.

Richard served 8 years as a United States Marine.  As a Marine, he instructed the Marine Corps Boxing team in Hawaii during his enlistment.

His military occupation was Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting.  After his enlistment was completed, Rick worked as an emergency communication specialist in Idaho which involved working with the Department Of Homeland Security activating Amber Alerts, rural ambulances, Lifeflight, and handling 911 calls.  Rick discovered through his job experience that the best line of defense is yourself in nearly every situation.

Richard saw a segment of Commando Krav Maga on the Discovery Channel TV Show: Human Weapon in 2009.  This inspired him to become a certified instructor.  After a background check and interview with chief instructor Moni Aisik, Richard was accepted into the CKM instructor course and trained by one of Moni's elite team instructors.  With Moni's advice to have the mindset of an "empty cup", Richard passed at the top of his class.  Since then he has had the privilege to be trained personally by Mr Aisik along with the best of Moni's team instructors.  

Richard strives to provide the best quality of training to all students practicing Commando Krav Maga.

Our program is designed to change your life, but this is not a "magic pill". Expect to work hard. We don't care where you're starting from, only that you try your hardest and finish the 6 weeks!

While practicing the Commando Krav Maga (CKM) tactics and techniques you are also taught to understand the psychological and mental aspects of the attack.

CKM drills are designed to maximize your street survival skills so you can defend yourself under stress. You train slowly and precisely (even blind-folded) so that the tactics and techniques are built into your muscle memory and become part of you. 

You gradually increase the amount of pressure in your training to include balance, psychology, non-cooperative attackers, multiple attackers, and the adrenaline factor. We train as realistically as possible while always keeping safety in mind.

As you level up in Commando Krav Maga, the level of intensity becomes increasingly demanding both physically and mentally. 

Through advanced training, you will gain the skills and self-confidence to effectively survive any confrontation.
